January - Members from Tathra Brigade assist in the District wide fires which have continued to burn since December last year.
March –Brigade is advised they were successful in winning a NSW Government Grant to the value of $166,400. This is to be spent on the building of a dedicated Training Room and refurbishment of the existing office area.
March – May - The co-vid19 pandemic prevents training as health guidelines prohibit groups.
Local construction company, Kaos Constructions, wins the tender for the building and refurbishment of Tathra Training room and Office.
July – Work begins on the refurbishment of the office area and building of Training Room

December –Tathra Station upgrades (Office refurbishment and new Training Room) completed by Kaos Constructions, Tathra
March – Members from Tathra Brigade assist in the central NSW floods – Port Macquarie. Carl Oakley and Ed Locs join a Far South Coast Strike Team for a five day deployment

July - Tathra Brigade takes delivery of a new Cat 9 - Landcruiser
October - Brigade installs a much needed hose drying rack at the back of the Station. This rack was designed and built by Jason Snell - Tilba Welding
16th December - Members who participated in the 2019 / 2020 fires are awarded the National Emerfgency Medal for their efforts. These included the folowing members: Richard Boys, David Gallan, Sally Gallimore, Richard Gallimore, Lance Hartley, Jason Lewington, Ed Locs, Don McPhee, Peter Miller, Carl Oakley, Geraldine Sheehan and Adam Wiggins.

October – Station roll–a–doors are painted with firefighter – themed cartoons, courtesy SDC Lance Hartley who spent many hours on the ladder.
March . Members from Tathra Brigade travel to Mudgee to assist with the ongoing fires in that area. 18300+ Ha (Alpha Road fire)
March . Members travel to Berridale to assist with the Dalgety Road fire. 530+ hectares burnt

June – Members of the Brigade began a new phase in their firefighting - using self - contained breathing apparatus or SCBA. This allows another layer of repiratory protection for firefighters, especially when confronted with toxic smoke at structure and vehicle fires
August – Seven members are qualified in Breathing Apparatus, with more to come. This makes Tathra Brigade the first in the Bega Valley to become CABA capable
December 5th — Far South Coast District — Bega Valley and Eurobodalla, along with Central Coast District, are first to employ the new Mobile Data Terminals in NSW
