Scenario One

S.M.E.A.C. From the Crew Leader "We‘ve got a vehicle alight at the back of Penny Lane Cemetery. When we get there, I‘ll make sure there‘s no one in or around the vehicle. Tim and Marty, lay one line, two lengths of 38mm hose and attack the fire. Do not start until I give the go ahead. Ben, I want you to operate the pump and report to me. We‘ll use fireground channel 20. The area is on a hill, so watch out for vehicle roll and chock it if needed and safe to do so. Is everyone clear about what we are going to do?"

Scenario Two

S.M.E.A.C. From the Crew Leader "We‘ve got an MVA at the intersection of Ember and Smoke St. Apparently one person is trapped and electrical wires are down and on the vehicle. I‘ll will confirm that. Julie, get a fire extinguisher and follow me to do the initial size-up. Tim and Marty, lay one line, two lengths of 38mm hose and be prepared to follow me in when I give the command. Ben, I want you to operate the pump and report to me. We‘ll use fireground channel 20. Watch out for fuel spills and other hazards. Check for vehicle stability and chock it if needed and safe to do so. Is everyone clear about what we are going to do?"

Scenario Three

S.M.E.A.C. From the Crew Leader "We‘ve got a car alight at the intersection of Ember and Smoke St. Apparently it is a stolen / abandoned vehicle. I‘ll will confirm that no one is inside the vehicle. Julie, get a fire extinguisher and follow me to do the initial size-up. Tim and Marty, lay one line, two lengths of 38mm hose and attack the fire. Do not start until I give the go ahead.
