September - Phase 3 completed. New station finally erected.

August - Brigade members participate in Gulaga National Park fire.

August - Concrete slab is poured for Tathra's new station.

Lance Hartley updates the Brigade website.

June - Phase 1 completed. Trees are removed to make way for Tathra's new station.

Tathra VRFB - AGM - elected officers: Captain: Adam Wiggins; Senior Deputy Captain Jason Lewington; Deputy Captain: Lance Hartley

April - Brigade members participate in hazard reduction - Wadbilliga National Park.

Lance Hartley puts the inaugural website online with the domain www.tathrafirebrigade.org.au.

2008

Brigade accepts new constitution.

May - Tathra VRFB - AGM - elected officers:Captain: Adam Wiggins; Senior Deputy Captain:; Jason Lewington; Deputy Captain: Lance Hartley.

Brigade takes delivery of new 4 WD Category 1 tanker which replaces the Category 2 tanker.

2006

December - Senior Deputy Captain, Mr Ben Ellis, tragically dies from a heart attack

May - Tathra VRFB - AGM - elected officers: Adam Wiggins (Captain); Ben Ellis(Senior Deputy Captain); Jason Lewington (Deputy Captain)

January - Brigade members attend fires at Merimbula

Tathra Country Club donate $10,000 towards the building of the new station.

2004

3rd May - Tathra Brigade attends Old Bega Hospital fire, Bega.

2002

14th June - Bega Fire Control Centre at a cost of $300,000 is officially opened.

The Bega Valley Shire's fire control staff at the opening of the new control centre: deputy control officer, John Cullen, fire control officer, Phil Collins, Helen Hain and Delphine Troughear, with Elaine Collins (centre)

 

Tathra's main fire engine is replaced by a new Category 2 tanker.

2001

December - Brigade members participate in the Shoalhaven fires - Nowra.
